Usually the verb (eats) and the object (lunch) are together,
“Dave eats lunch every day” not “Dave eats every day lunch

Did you watch TV last night?

Place and Time

We went to a party last night.
Subject verb place time

Usually the place (to a party) is before the time (last night).
“We went to a party last night” not “We went last night to a party.”

Place (where?) time (when, how long, how often?)
Steve works at the university every day.
Gina drives to work every day.
I usually go to bed at 10pm.
